Mary Eating Cherries

Hello friends, today we are sharing another sweet image from my vintage linen children's book.
The book is from the 1930's and is full of sweet rhymes and big beautiful images. The book was published by The Merrill company and the illustrator was Florence Salter.  This image is of a little girl named Mary eating cherries.
I just love her scottie!

Wishing you a wonderful Spring day, Twyla and Lindsey

Hi Twyla:
This is such a sweet image! I'm thinking on a fabric transfer, sewn as a pocket on a red gingham apron...hmmmm. What do you think?
Thanks again for your generosity! (I even have a pattern for a little dog sort of like the stuffed one!) Perhaps for my granddaughter for her birthday!
Have a great day, girls!
xoxo

Hello Ladies,

Thank you so much for the image. I'm trying to get up the gumption to make my blog ribbon, but I'm having so much fun sculpting right now to stop. Stop by for a visit to see new piccy's.

Hugs
Meri

Too cute. I love that picture. The curlie blond hair, white penafore, red & white checked dress and those sweet red sox with black Mary Jane shoes . I am going out for lunch with girlfriends today and wearing my favorite, comfortable Mary Jane shoes.

Enjoy your day....
